Pirate Bay, a file sharing hub containing over 150,000 movies, songs and other files, is charged by Swedish prosecutors.
Although it’s estimated that the site is making $60,000 a month in advertising revenue, Pirate Bay spokesman said the Pirate Bay has never made a profit, partly due to the cost of hardware maintenance .
The charges against The Pirate Bay’s operators are based on evidence collected in the 2006 raid.
