Beset by performance issues, Microsoft has decided to extend the beta testing period for its upcoming Visual Studio 2010 software development platform and will postpone the planned March 22, 2010, launch date by a few weeks, a Microsoft executive said in a blog on Thursday.

Microsoft was accused that its Juku micro-blogging service for China contained code and design elements stolen from Plurk.com. Microsoft apologized and said it “assumes responsibility for this situation” and would suspend “access to the Juku beta indefinitely.”

PC World – A month after many details of Microsoft’s new Zune HD player were leaked by blogs, the company finally made it official on Wednesday. The Zune HD will arrive in the U.S. sometime this fall and comes with an OLED touchscreen and HD radio among its main features.
